The Girl Behind the Curtain

Hello, there!

Welcome to my blog! It’s nothing fancy, but I’m not a fancy person, so it works for me.

Books and writing have been two of my best friends since I was a little kid. I remember when I was about six or seven and trying to write my first story. Yeah… that didn’t turn out very well, but I’ve loved it ever since.

I work full-time as a physical therapist, but my true passion is writing. This blog will contain my opinions about writing and reading, my crazy experiences, my quest for publication, my oddities, my quirks, my dog’s middle name.

Oh, wait. No dog. Scratch that.

In case you’re wondering who I am, this is me:

Car Selfie

Not too shabby, right? I don’t usually take selfies, but I was feeling and looking good this day. Of course, I’m only going to post flattering pics. At least for now. Here’s another good one:

A Few Years Old, But...

This one’s about seven years old, but hey! There’s no time limits, right?

Man, I sure sound full of myself. I’m really not. Ask my friends. But out here in cyberspace, I can fake it all I want, right? Right? RIGHT?

All right, last one. I promise.

What A Transformation!

Wow! What a transformation, right? Dang. I don’t even remember the makeover that produced this bombshell. Don’t I look fabulous?

Anywho…

Now that you know a little about me, I hope to get to know you and learn your stories.Β I’m sure to make many blunders along the way, which I hope will amuse everyone, including myself.

Feel free to explore this blog and hopefully you’ll find a few things that will help you, cajole you, inspire you, or make you laugh. All of the above would be a bonus.

If you’re so inclined, you can follow me on Goodreads,Β Pinterest, or critique my fashion on Polyvore. And let me know if you’re on any of those sites. I always love to follow new people!

Have fun! And happy writing!

Thanks for liking my blog, Confessions of a School nurse. I also work in the medical field and long to be a full time writer. It’s interesting juggling the two, with everything else going on! Wonderful blog! I’ve enjoyed the few entries I’ve rear thus far. Keep up the writing!

    • Thanks for visiting and following! It definitely is a struggle, but there is so much fodder for the imaginative process in health care. I’m sure that people who know me well will see my medical background in my writing. Good luck with your writing!

  2. Hi there!

Good luck with submitting your manuscript!
